Ok, so this is my first build so im not sure if its something i screwed up or if something else is going on. I saw a lot of these problems going round and i tries a few of the fixes to no avail. Idk if its a problem with the way i have it set up or with the components or drivers.

Im running:
Rosewill BLACKHAWK Gaming ATX
ASUS R9270X-DC2T-2GD5 Radeon R9 270X 2GB 256-bit GDDR5
Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-750 750W Continuous @40°C, 80 PLUS BRONZE
ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900)
AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W 8-Core
SAMSUNG 840 EVO SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD

Basically, I can run the machine forever on browsers or on the desktop. its fine and responsive. I loaded up Dust on and and it crashed in full screen mode. tweaked a few things, tewaked some settings, put it in window mode. it was fine.
Went online and started streaming 1080p video feed. that was fine. i even ran dust and the video stream at the same time. both fine. so i thought maybe i had fixed the problem.
well it turns out that if i put the video on fullscreen mode it lasts about 45 seconds before the sound cuts out (sometimes it screeches, sometimes it goes blank.) but the screen always freezes, it never goes black or breaks up, just freezes. mouse and keyboard dont work, nothing.
The only thing ive found is to hard reboot. and ive done it several times.

the temps are completely fine. nothing out of the ordinary, ran memtest ram is doing fine. tried to disable hardware accel, tried new drivers tried fresh drivers, reinstalled windows. still nothing is working.
Currently i have it hooked up via hdmi to my 26" magnavox, but ive had the exact problem every setup ives used (32" emerson hdmi, and a 22"acer dvi)

obviously i COULD just never use full screen but that defeats the purpose of having the machine.

any ideas?

(oh i might add for the heck of it. when watching the video im using chrome. idk if that matters because the game is freezing it too, but the more the merrier i suppose)

Unfortunately I I'd that with no luck :/

Will give it a shot. Tried something similar but not entirely. Thanks

Well. I left it alone over night. Ran a few windows updates. Installed a view updates for flash. And ended up doing the wipe from that post and it seems to be working. I've been able to run it for at least an hour without it crashing.
