So, the problem happens while playing certain games, in the most recent case: War Thunder. When it crashes, the system just shuts off like it loses power or something. I suspect that the problem is a driver causing memory corruption, I just don’t know which driver is responsible. I could be completely wrong though.
Things I have tried so far:
Checked graphics drivers (they are fine)
Checked CPU drivers (got the latest from Intel)
Removed all the over clocks
Uninstalled almost all unnecessary software
I ran Memtest for like 10 hours, no errors
Driver Verifier: I’ve tried driver verifier and I can’t figure it out, I’m probably doing something
wrong so if necessary I can sit down and get it worked out.
Computer specs: Intel i7-4790k
Amd R9 290
MSI Gaming 7 mother board
Corsair 750RM
Link to dump file: So, all i have is the dump file from the last time i fixed the issue. All i could get out of it was that it was something to do with symantec, which i uninstalled. For some reason i can't find a dump file for the last several crashes. It is set to do a full dump on crash so I'm not sure why that isn't happening.
Dumpfile
Thank you.
