Only recently within about a month or two my computer has begun to hang when under a heavy load. It noticed this when i was playing CSGO and out of no where my computer hanged and it the screen froze and it wouldn't accept input so i had to reset it manually. I managed to recreate the hang by putting it under a stress test and took pictures of what the monitors said.

First my specs are:
ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 MOBO
AMD FX 9590
ThermalTake ToughPower 750W gold PSU
NVIDIA GeForce gtx 960 4gb
and Corsair Vengeance LP 8Gb (2x4Gb)

Here are the pictures of the system monitors when it hanged

Also this computer was built sometime in july of last year.

You are aware that a FX 9590 is a 220W cpu.

I would check that he motherboard via it`s cpu socket you have can provide 220w of power.
If it does not, it is why the system is crashing under a cpu stress test ImPiff.

A FX 9590 is pretty power hungry even with the base clock speed settings.
And stability of it get`s worse if you have applied any sort of overclock to the cpu.

i would think that it can. I went to the ASUS website, found the MOBO and found my cpu. It says it's supported and the only other thing for it is a note that says "Due to the high TDP, please be noted there are limitations while using this CPU(i.e. special thermal required..)"
Here is the link if you'd like(sorry but you'll have to go find it on the list.)http://
