This only started today. I started to play Battlefield 4 but I noticed that it was lagging which usually does not happen. I restarted my laptop to see if that would fix it but it did not. When I went to check my system performance, I noticed that it was using all 16 gigabytes of my ram even though on the processes tab, Battlefield was only using up 1.3 gigabytes. When I closed the game, the ram usage went down to 3.4 gigabytes but when I check the processes still, the highest usage of ram is only 180 megabytes. My questions are:

- Why is so much ram being used?
- How can I fix this?

I am currently running an antivirus scan to see if there are any viruses.

Hi,

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by running Windows Update and install all updates available.
- Next is to do a clean install of the graphics card driver. Please do use this link below for guide and tools you can use.

Thanks. I will be sure to check for windows updates, do a fresh install of the graphics card driver and I have already done a virus scan and nothing came up. Also I have read that this may be because of a memory leak.
