So I have a bose headset with a built in microphone that uses a single 3.5 mm jack with right/left/mic/ground config like this one http://www.lunashops.co.uk/images/upload/Image/3_5mm-converter-for-iphone-.jpg
Up untill today the microphone worked just fine by plugging the jack into the audio slot. Since today my (windows 10) pc doesn't detect the microphone.
Any ideas?

Edit: Even when plugging the headset into the microphone slot my pc still doesn't detect the mic.

Solution

As I said, from Device Manager.
Since it worked before, I can't think why it doesn't now. Try deleting your drivers from device manager, it should automatically reinstall.

My headphones require a splitter since the computer doesn't recognise the microphone and headphones together in 1 jack.

Never installed any drivers, so there is nothin to delete.
Or am I missing something?

When you first plugged in those headphones their drivers were automatically installed, nothing for you to do manually.

Alright, where do I go about uninstalling them?
