Computer freeze with buzzing sound

Hello guys i signed up just to ask you about my problem which is ongoing for a year now.

The problem is when i play games like Battlefield 4,Arma 3 and lots of heavy games i don't really have any problems.But there are some games that causes my pc to freeze with a really loud buzzing coming from my headphones and requires me to restart my computer.For example Total War Rome 2,Shadow of Mordor,Grid Autosport,Splinter Cell: Blacklist are the ones that caused this to happen.The weird thing is,i was having this problem 2 months ago while playing Rome 2,and now i can play Rome 2 as long as i want without having this problem,but 4 months ago i could play Grid Autosport as long as i want without that problem but nowadays i'm having this problem while playing Grid Autosport.

My System:

i7 3770k
GTX780 AMP!
Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H
16 GB Corsair Ram
850W Raidmax PSU



FYI if you think this is a heat related problem,i don't think it is.Because this happens no matter how hot my CPU & GPU is when the computer freeze.I did both prime95 and furmark tests for 1 hour,no problem occured.I even formatted my PC 2 months ago,it did not solve the problem either.

Try to slowly troubleshoot each component one at a time.

If it's the regular types of PC beep patterns, you can reference the motherboard manual to tell what problem it is trying to communicate.

I never heard a beep pattern while having this issue,and there is no reference in the motherboard manual related to this situation.

In addition,when i play Rome 2 (or any other games that i listed above) and leave the game after a time without a crash,the buzzing/freeze appears randomly while i'm doing anything.

I'm having the same exact problem. What weird is when I play Battlefield 3, The Settlers 7, Call of Duty Modern Warfare that problem hasn't occured yet. But when I play Rome 2, after a few minutes, (but not always) PC completely stops with a buzzing strange sound in loop. It has also occured when I'm on Firefox playing YouTube videos, and Hears of Iron III which is also weird because HoI3 doesn't request a good GPU or something. I cleaned whole PC items, even changed the CPU. I updated all of the drivers, tried re-install them. But I haven't got rid of this problem. I'm looking for solutions and suggestions.

Looks like the same problem as mine.Bad thing is,i was having this in Evolve Beta,and Evolve is coming out tomorrow and this will happen again.I am thinking of Ram Voltage issue or something involving my Monitor.I tried like everything too,nothing solved this.

850W Raidmax PSU < This is more than likely your issue , their power supplies are very very poor quality.

I recently changed my PSU,but the problem is still here.

Update BIOS. If already updated try resetting and then load BIOS defaults.

Update/reinstall chipset drivers?

OK, when I overclocked my CPU and GPU the problem occurred in Battlefield3 too. My BIOS is up-to-dated. I think it's something related to voltage settings?

Did you reset BIOS, and then load default BIOS settings? And did you reinstall chipset drivers?
