Hello everybody! 😀
A couple of days ago my pc had an error message in windows 8.1 and shut down. It didnt start up again and all usb devices were dead and when i tried to boot my pc it came into a weird sleep mode kind of thing. Since then i have managed to start my computer and have it work almost as normal again. The only thing still when trying to play any type of game (Gmod, Counter Strike Global Offensive) the screen either just freezes completely and nothing can be done to get it to unfreeze except rebooting, or the screen turns black and the pc reboots. I have tried to fix this problem by reinstalling windows and run a series of tests to determine if it is a hardware problem.
My setup is a mix of new components and old from my Asus Aspire M9320.

i5 2300 CPU
Gigabyte GTX770 GPU
Corsair 750M PSU
Mobo is the one i got from my aspire
Ram is 8gb divided into 4 sticks also from my old pc.

In the series of test i have not seen a problem in heat with any of the components. And especially not from the gpu since it is a Gigabyte 3X Windforce with the 3 fans.
the cpu should be fine as well since the cpu tests went through nicely. But the one thing is when i ran some tests that tested both gpu, cpu and ram. The pc froze at the ram part. I dunno if it just decided to freeze by then or if it was because i have faulty ram.
also the old pc parts are from 2011 i think. so they are quite old and there are no found drivers for the mobo bios :/

I think i have covered about everything but if there are any questions, feel free to ask :)

the thing is, i dont see any problems with heat. When checking my temps for example the gpu is at low temps C. I have been using my pc for 6 months now and suddenly this happens :/
