My computer has been randomly freezing / entering blue screen for a few months now.
This mostly happens when I play a specific game, such as Blade and soul, but I had random error happening with other games as well, such as league of legends.

During Blade and Soul, I tend to crash, freeze, lock up, or enter blue screen of death whenever I try to arena only.
In League Of Legends, eventually, I couldn't open up the client at all to enter the game. [fixed using client repair].

my old fixes where Client repairs, or reinstalling my OS [ which fixes it only for a while, same goes for client repair.]

For the most part, I can play my games with no problems, but I recently just had a game yesterday with league receiving two bug splats in a row. I fear that eventually I can't play games at all without having random errors, freezes, lock-ups, or blue screens.

I thought it was the OS, but I lost count on how many times I cleaned/ fresh installed [this was my best fix btw]

MEM test tells me my ram isn't bad, I even bought new ram to test it out and the same problem occurs, so I returned them.

I have stress-tested my GPU before and it worked fine. I will redo it later today, but I don't think it is my GPU.
[Tested it again, no problems found]

I did a test on my hard drive [Short Self test = Failure] and got one error ONCE, but later I redid it a few times n didn't gain any more
errors so I don't know if it's really my hard drive.

I don't know if my power supply is the problem, or my hard drive or my motherboard....
I did have a minor issue with the power supply when I first got it. It did not want to power up my system unless I plugged my fans directly to the motherboard [meaning I couldn't use the power supply's fan connectors], but I don't know if that really means anything. I did order a new power supply to test it out once it arrives.

In the mean time...
Any ideas on what it could be?
any thoughts on what I can do to further test the problem?
What component should I buy to replace / fix this problem?

thanks for your time!

Solution
SMART is a drive-health monitoring technology built in to the hard drive. If SMART reports a test failure it almost always means bad news -- the hard drive is faulty and could completely fail at any time. All hard drives do fail sooner or later.
You should immediately copy all your documents, music files & video files etc. from that drive to another location (external drive, CD/DVD discs etc.) before the drive fails completely. As for the psu, Ive had similar lockup problems with a bad one.

tell me if this link / site works
if so-- tell me if this is the files you are after
Is so... i only have a small amount because i clean install my pc no to long ago... :<

I used A Memtest found in a site that i had to burn onto my cd, did not use the pc one.

I would uninstall ASUS charger. It's a known cause of crashes

Disable AMD overdrive it's a known cause of crashes

I would uninstall Bitdefender. It's a known cause of crashes. Then use their removal tool

I dont know what this belongs to. But I would either uninstall it or update it. It's 6 yrs old ElcMouUFlt.sys

Alright ill try them and report back later after i tested it later
I dont have AMD Overdrive on or rather... i have never used it. I do have my CPU overclocked only, want me to reset that?
I have tried with Bitdefender fully disabled [ since its the free version, it doesn't really do much] and i still crashed...
it has an auto scan [usually IDLE] and a virus shield... both can be shut down completely and makes my Computer respond saying i have no antivirus.
should i try uninstalling regardless?

alright, sorry for making you repeat yourself, wanted to make sure.

ill try them all out, and respond with my outcome later.
Thanks again for helping!!

It is an option, but when I reinstall everything, it did not give me that option for some reason o.o
That tab is non-existent atm.
Currently trying to google for more info on this weird event just in case.

ooo, I used ASUS suit to overclock... maybe thats the program we want to tackle ahaah... bu tanyways ill be reseting it all like you said.

Alright, this is my update...
even with all of them removed, i still ended up crashing so to conclude none of these were the cause for the crashes, sadly :[....
Any other ideas?

i was tyring to reply earlyer... i kinda agree for now on the PSU as u said... I currently am waiting for a new one atm. Its classified as a tier 1 psu on this site so it should work wonderfully. Im hoping this is the issue.

Now the hard drive, i did a ton of test after one of my earlier test i received a Short Self test = Failure
so i've been testing daily to make sure it is ok. For now, i haven't gotten anymore failures and I've done a bunch so far ahaha.
Yes i do have a backup just in case...
I also tried running ur Prime or intel burn software but it wasn't doing anything haha. idk

So far, until someone else gives me a new idea, im leaning towards and hoping that its just the PSU.being bad / broken

Not to be offensive, but i don think you understand how APU builds work lol...
I have no problems with my FPS whatsoever...
My system is strong enough trust me...
ANd the game i am currently having problems with isnt the strongest game, nor close to the ones ive played with this machine haha,,,
