Hi I have a windows 7 64 bit system that seems to freeze randomly just surfing web pages and so on. Ive tested the ram with no errors, tried different settings, and I have an updated bios. Any other information that is needed I will gladly share I have to write this fast before my comp freezes again.

Asrock extreme 58 motherboard
g.skill ripjaw 1600 ddr3 8gb ram 4 sticks
ati radeon 4670hd
core i7 920 cpu
1tb samsung hard drive
my windows score is 5.9 which the 2nd lowest item is 6.8 but my harddrive is 5.9 so that brings it down

My second problem is that sound only comes out of my left speaker I tried both speakers and they work fine. I plugged in a headset and it also does the same thing?? I had these speakers working before but I believe I had windows 32 bit. Not as big of a problem as the first.

seems stable I can actually use my virus scanner without freezing and the event log has 29177 events wow tons of errors everywhere i have a bunch of red x critical for application experience infrastructure event 2, kernal power event 41. I have exclamation red error that says bonjour service event 100, Sidebyside event 63, service control manager event 7001, 7023, 7026. More exclamation red Distributed COM event 10005 and 10010 and CAPI2 event 4107. Yellow warnings whea logger event id 17 I mean these things keep going I have so many errors wow!

I updated every driver for motherboard and video card i used cccleaner twice says there is no errors now. Used registry tool but it couldn't get rid of 5 errors that went up to 9. Used malwarebytes found one spyware same with spybot search and destroy. Using nod32 to scan while im doing sfc scannow. Will update

Ok:
so you have the most updated BIOS?
you've updated all drivers?
you've ran the malware scans?
you've repaired the registry?

Now that it's freezing, check the event viewer, and post the errors, or upload the event viewer.

With all those changes, can you post a new hijackthis log?

yep actually I uninstalled jmicron and ati radeon driver so those are the only two not updated as of yet and no freeze so far but my computer is obviously running crappy without the graphics driver

Im getting somewhere I found a lot of people having problems with windows 7 getting the same problems as I am. They say if they go back to XP or vista their computer is stable again. It might be something to do with the ati driver because while its not installed my computer runs fine ill try to install it again and see what happenes.

ty so much aford10 I got a driver sweeper deleted everything to do with ati and installed and havent froze up for a whole day. Plus my comp is running smooth

Disabled hibernation along time ago. When it goes into hibernate my network would go dead upon waking up and I had to always restart. The computer I can actually use now its better than before but I just checked minidump and found one in there. I posted on skydrive http://cid-87b4120880cfa342.office.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public?uc=1. Also when it froze I was just surfing the internet will do scannow

finished the sfc scan and was about to post and froze again. The sfc scan when finished goes to 100 and just closes is that normal? and it was another critical kernal again

Ok, then your system files should be good. As long as the scan didn't shut down after a second, it scanned all the files, and didn't find any errors.

I'm downloading some debugger tools to check out the dump file. It'll take a few minutes.

It's a good sign that the kernel error is the only one showing now.

i found some program called bluescreenview and it found one of my ati drivers were causing it to mess up but no matter what I do ati keeps reinstalling automatically by windows also I lost the NYchris account because my hotmail wasn't getting a confirmation.

standard one windows installs also im not getting the confirmation emails my hotmail account didnt work so I'm using gmail now and its not working either

Yeah I tried it still did'nt work. Not in spam in either im just not getting the confirmations. Had a new blue screen today caused by dxgkrnl.sys said Thread_Stuck_In_Device_Driver. This computer is going to be the cause of my death!!!
