Hello There,

Ok this is my problem, some weeks ago, I got a brand new PC!

However, it freezes randomly...

Doesn't matter if it has a great load or if it is idle, eventually it will freeze....

I'm kind of worried since here in my country I cannot get PRO support for this issue

My Build is:

CPU: AMD FX 9590 (not overclocked)
MOTHERBOARD: ROG Crosshair V Formula-Z features the 990FX
RAM: 32 Gb Corsair Vengeance PRO Series DDR 3 at 2400Mhz
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 980ti (Zotac)
SSD1: Kingston Hyper X 480 Gb
SSD2 / HDD1: Western Digital Black 2 (Hybrid)
HDD2: Western Digital 1TB
PSU: EVGA Supernova 750 G2
COOLING: Corsair H100i

Can anyone help me with this issue??

Thanks!!!

Bruno

2400MHz is not a supported speed for an non-overclocked FX-9590. What BIOS option changes have you made to set Memory Clock, DRAM Timings, and DRAM voltage?

32 Gb Corsair Vengeance PRO Series DDR 3 at 2400Mhz

MY32GX3M4A2400C11R
Memory Size 32GB Kit (4 x 8GB)
SPD Latency 9-9-9-24
SPD Speed 1333MHz
SPD Voltage 1.5V
Speed Rating PC3-19200 (2400MHz)
Tested Latency 11-13-13-31
Tested Speed 2400MHz
Tested Voltage 1.65V

In the above example of 32GB of Corsair MY32GX3M4A2400C11R:
If you leave BIOS memory settings on AUTO the memory will run at SPD (Serial Presence Detect) speed of 1333MHz. If i sounds kind of stupid to run 2400MHz memory at 1333MHz. That's just so it can get up and running.

Non-overclocked FX CPUs support up to 1600MHz memory speed with all four memory slots filled. You may have some success by setting the memory clock to 1600MHz and DRAM Timings to 10-10-10-26.

It may be that the memory has to be run so far out of the rated specifications you get freezes.

Good evening!!

Ok, this is getting frustrating... Did as you recommended above, set the clock to 1600 MHz and timings to 10-10-10-26...

But still freezes :( also got another RAM stick (Kingston Hyper X 8GB) just to test it but still freezes.... used the same settings as above....

Could it be a MB problem?? CPU problem??

Been monitoring the temperature on CPU, GPU and PSU, but when it freezes, temperature are normal.

OK, here is an UPDATE... after setting UP as above, been testing it... played normally, but nothing happened... left the computer downloading a game... went back from work and it was frozen...
