I got a new RX6900XT and apart from the thing being pretty big, it sags a little (had an RX 6700 XT before). I thought it may be a good idea to use a support bracket. When I level the card my screens will first flicker until my PC freezes and I have to power cycle for it to work again. Without the support bracket it runs smooth as always. Could it be the contacts have been bend from the previous card already so that lifting/leveling will cause this behavior?

I got a new PSU with the card. Corsair RM850x Gold. It's an ASRock OC Formula 6900 XT and they do recommend 1000W, maybe should have gotten a 1000W. In the meanwhile I updated my Mobo Bios from 8. to 16. (Asus TUF Z590 Plus). Since then it has run stable, but I did not try the bracket again, it's one of those extendable support pillars you put on the far side of the GPU. It's magnetic on the bottom, but not on top (I checked, because I thought that may be an issue). At first I went into the ASRock Tweak tool and lowered the Power to 97% (315W max), that went well for a while and I only had one crash today that I could fix via reboot. Interestingly enough the Power Limit setting went back to 100%.

Make and model of the PSU that you've paired with the RX6900XT? How old is the PSU in your build? Got a link to the GPU support bracket?
I took the card out and put it back in, it seemed it was pushed a little into the pci slot closer to the back of the case and a little out of the slot at the end, I also screwed it in less tight, because that could have let to the misalignment. I also sometimes got spots on my screens in somewhat of a matrix pattern which seemed to disappear when I moved the card up and down a bit. Maybe with the reinstall it will be fixed. I'll report either in a couple of days if there were no further crashes or as soon as I have the next one...

Update: I ran it in OC mode at 110% (360W) power limit for a couple of hours and it's been stable. Ran 3DMark and played Rocket League and had MS Flight Simulator on Ultra running for a while. Looks like it may have been purely mechanical.

It keeps crashing. Tried in my 2nd rig and same behavior. Sending back for a replacement. Unfortunately I do not have another PSU that would be strong enough, so if it is the PSU I should see with the next card.
