Okay so...I had built this computer about around the start of this year (2015) and had no issues with it till recently. The issue is when I started games the computer would give me a black screen and/or say "No signal", however, the computer itself doesn't shutoff and keeps running. (Have to restart it from reset button) I have sent off parts to be tested along with replace/upgrade other parts and after being rebuilt worked for about three days. (only difference is it doesn't crash on every game...just high end ones.)

Parts are the following:
AMD FX-6300 -(replaced with)- AMD FX-8350
MSI 970 GA MB -(Replaced with)- ASRock 990FX EXTREME9
16GB of Kingston Fury -(due to issues)- 8Gb of Kingston Fury (ram is running at 1866mhz)
GTX 970 MSI Twin Frozer V -(Tested by MSI...don't think this is the problem)-
Other: TP-Link TL-WDN4800 WIFI adapter
PSU: EVGA Supernova NEX 650w [Fully modular with 80+Gold rating]
HDD: Western Digital WD Blue 500GB [5400RPM]
2nd HDD: Western Digital WD Blue 1TB [5400RPM]

I haven't recently tested the temps of my PC while gaming (probably should of but kinda late now...)
Idle temps: CPU 35c GPU 29c
Gaming Temps: CPU: Unknown GPU: Below 60c (Fans never came on so it has to be below the set temp.)

Solution
Unfortunately, it's possible that the power supply is causing you these issues, @Zensuki2! 🙁
I'd suggest to turn to a professional PC repair service and let the guys there do full diagnostics on your system. They will easily find the faulty hardware and, hopefully, give you some peace of mind.
If you think that you can do the testing yourself, you can use the guidelines here: http://www.howtogeek.com/172933/how-can-i-test-my-computers-power-supply/
Be careful, though. The procedure is pretty delicate!

Good luck!

Welcome to the community, Zensuki2!

I'd suggest you to make sure you have updated your BIOS to the latest version from your motherboard manufacturer's website. While on it, I'd also check the SATA controller drivers and make sure they are up to date as well.
To rule out the HDDs as the source of the issue, I'd recommend you to test them using WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics for Windows. Running the quick and extended tests will help us see if there's anything wrong with them or not. Here's a link to the WD software: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=Xpj2lE

Another thing worth trying is re-seating all the connections inside the rig and making sure everything is properly connected.

Keep me posted. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks SuperSoph_WD, glad to have found the place. =)

So I did what you suggested and updated my BIOS along with the tests on both of the HDDs. I got "No signal" when nearing the end of my 1TB HDD's extended test. Could this be the cause of my issue or is more info needed?

Oh and I forgot to mention as part of the info above...I'm currently waiting on a new PSU (upgrading to the 850w of the same PSU)

Hey there again, Zensuki2!

Good job with the PSU upgrade. If you get no signal at the end of the test, it might mean that you have a faulty connection to the WD Blue drives. I'd suggest you to try testing them from another computer (if you have access to one) or try changing the SATA cables themselves.
I'd still strongly advise you to keep a backup off-site while troubleshooting your system and especially before upgrading any of the components. This is the best way to avoid any potential data loss headaches.

Good luck! :)

Don't really have a PC that I can place them in...I will however check the cables and replace them if necessary (I believe the motherboard came with new cables...if not I know I have a extra cable or two laying about somewhere.)

Thanks for your help so far SuperSoph_WD :)

Update: Okay so I got home from work and got to work on checking cables and lines leading to devices on the board. Disconnected, checked the connectors for possible damage, and reconnected everything. Well...I now have a new issue. The computer died after posting (which has never happened before...) started it up again and it died after login...the questions I have now is...could my PSU be dying? Could my PSU be a possible cause for the other problem if its not my HDD?

Solution
Okay so...I got my new power supply today and replaced the old one...things seem to be running smoothly now. If anything changes I will just take it to a computer servicing place and have them take a further look into it.

Thanks for help SuperSoph_WD =)
