I've been to Geek Squad and back twice, I've asked all of my computer science friends and we just can't pin point the problem! My custom built PC keeps freezing after about an hour of use. I'll be gaming, an hour later it freezes. I'll be watching Youtube, an hour later it freezes. I'll leave it idle, and a little over an hour later it freezes. My Windows 10 Pro isn't activated, I tried transferring it from the previous built I bought from someone and it isn't valid. The Windows 10 Home Edition Code that I bought from Amazon didn't work.

Here are my specs:
I7-6700k Skylake Intel Processor
ASUS ROG GTX 1060 6GB
Gigabyte X-150 PLUS WS LGA 1151 Ultra Durable Motherboard
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
128 GB SSD
1 TB HDD
OCZ700MXSP PSU
16 GB HyperX DDR4 RAM

[OS = Windows 10]

Any ideas? Please help!

Sounds like a faulty SSD, it might be freezing due to a slight power change on the board. A clean Windows install might help but I would suggest a replacement if it's under warranty.

Okay, I bought a Windows 10 Home Edition Key from Amazon and I went into settings and tried to change the product key and it didn't work. Does this mean I should get a new SSD and try a fresh install? And if so, how do I do with just a product key?

Well if you're installing windows you should type in the key during the installation (It's actually step two if I remember correctly). You should try a fresh install on your existing SSD.
