When I tried to open my PC, it is getting stuck in the logo screen (Asus, which is my motherboard) then it will turn off itself. My PC started freezing too randomly, like you cannot click anything until I hard reset my PC.

I am not sure if it's psu or motherboard. I recently bought my PSU few months ago.

specs:
CPU: i3 4th gen
Motherboard: asus h87me
gpu: vtx3d r9 290x
memory: 2x gskill 4gb
PSU: seasonic m12ii 650w

PS: Tried to take out my gpu, and the monitor just outputting garbage.

Tried to take out my gpu and i tried it with the intel graphics with 1 ram.. the pc just lights up but no light from the mouse and keyboard and no monitor display, and if ever it gets past booting, the computer freezes while the monitor is just outputting garbage

monitor is connected to motherboard DVI/HDMI? and in your system bios you have selected "IGP" or "auto" for the video device? Can you borrow extra parts for troubleshooting e.g. ram/mobo and a psu?

yes the monitor is connected to the motherboard (took out the gpu because i was suspecting psu problems) it detects the intel graphics because sometimes it passes the boot screen and continues to windows but after a few minutes the computer freezes and the monitor outputs garbage (no response from keyboard as i press num lock and the light does not blink.

unfortunately i currently have no spare parts here to test thevother components. i was hoping we can figure out the cause without using spare parts so i can immediately replace it. anyway thanks for the reply

i think the ram is okay because there were no detected problems in windows memory diagnostics tools a few days ago while the pc is just freezing randomly causing me to hard reset

the heatsink is properly seated, it turned on for a couple of days and now its back to not booting again. is it the power supply or the motherboard? it's really frustrating
