Hello, i'm here because i wanna know something: I wanted to upgrade my processor to a AMD A8 7600, and i want to know, if there is any problem on doing it, if i need to change anything else.

My computer specs are:
Processor: 4X AMD A6-6310 APU with AMD Radeon R4 Graphics
Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 7000 series
Storage: 1TB Disk
RAM: 4GB DD3 Memory

My pc is the Aspire TC-215.
Thanks

With a 15 watt CPU and no discrete graphics card, it would probably fall in line that the system only has a minimal power supply in it as well (looks like 220 watts). Adding a discrete graphics card would almost certainly require a new power supply as well.

Assuming you have a 64-bit OS installed, I'd probably go ahead with a RAM upgrade to either 8GB or 16GB (max for your system) and when budget allows, check to see if you can replace the power supply. If you can, then look for a quality 450ish watt PSU and a GTX 950 graphics card. Anything above that is likely too much for your CPU.

Are you sure? Looks like it could be a desktop computer.

If it is a desktop computer, then you would need to determine if there are any TDP limits with the motherboard as the A8-7600 is a 65 watt CPU whereas the A6-6310 is only a 15 watt CPU.

Yeah, I forgot that sometimes, system manufacturers will use mobile components in desktop computers.

This says that it's a BGA (FT3b) socket which would be soldered to the motherboard. Unless CPU-Z turns up something else, it looks like k1114 would be correct in his original assessment.

With that being said, the only thing then that i can do to get better performance in games, is getting more RAM, or do you have any sugestions of what i can do? (I dont have much money to spend)

Instead of buying a GTX 950 can i buy something more weak? Cause the only game i play the most is Counter Strike Globall Offensive and i think i dont need much strong graphics card. If yes, can you tell me what? Thanks

One last question, if i decide to not buy a graphics card and only upgrade my ram and psu will that make difference on my computer performance on the game i mentioned?
