So my problem is that my computer crashes randomly, where the sound either keeps playing or gets stuck and screen goes black. A simple restart fixes everything, but i'm still worried. However when i switch out my R9 280X with my GTX 650 Ti, the crashes stop. But also when i orientate my case so that it is resting on the side of the case with the motherboard, so that the R9 280X is orientated as if it were in a Bitfenix Prodigy, the crashes stop.
So my question is that, is my problem caused by a faulty/insufficient power supply, or is the slack the card has when the case is upright is causing issues?
