Computer internet question

Wow!! The whole interwebs on one motherboard! Neat (J/K).

The motherboard has a network interface which plugs into your modem provided by your Internet provider (unless you own your own). However, if you're someone who still requires a dial-up connection to the Internet, you will need a Data Modem.

I meant ethernet, typo.

Correct.

Will a 10 foot cable reach from my modem to my desk?

That was a joke, but just another question, what would happen if my mobo has USB headers but my case wasn't compatible with that?

But it says there aren't but the nzxt source 210 has ports on the front of the case, am I mistaken e.e?
