....but won't turn on.....
Background: been through quite a lot of troubleshooting, hence the username. Initially because our expert buddy picked RAM that was incompatible with our mobo 3 yrs ago. Decided 2 months ago to upgrade the tower and CPU cooler. Long story short, the new corsair power supply fried all three of our hard drives (two were SSD!)
waiting on check from corsair to buy new SSD, running a good Seagate HDD in the meantime. System suddenly starts saying the display driver nvidia windows kernel mode driver v 331.65 stopped responding. Then starts crashing when any video game gets loaded. Reinstall all nvidia drivers. Then notice marvell drivers are missing, install them from the evga website. Odd...
Still getting error, but too busy at work to call Evga for help yet (have I mentioned evga customer service rocks?)
Now the computer decided it won't turn on. It is plugged in. (Ha. Ha. Ha.) Lights on mobo, but does nothing when I hit power. I'm about to just throw the whole dam thing out. Is there hope? Ideas?
Corsair 800d power and hx850 PSU
Evga x58 ftw mobo, i7 CPU, Kingston 12g ram
Corsair h50 CPU cooler
Evga geforce gtx660 graphics card
Soundblaster audio
Seagate 3tb "gaming" HDD
Sundry bluray and DVD drives
