At around May of 2013 I was able to play games at high details and then out of nowhere my computer started getting crap framerates (ex. League of Legends) and now I am forced to play at the lowest settings and I still get around 20 fps when alot of effects are displayed during the game. Also my computers overall performace and speed has slowed down out of nowhere since May.

My specs are : Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130801-1533)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO.,LTD
System Model: Z1-7596
BIOS: Default System BIOS
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8192MB RAM
Page File: 3679MB used, 12700MB available
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GT 520

I have no viruses or malaware. If someone could tell me why my computer suddenly slowed down such as outdated graphics card, old processor, etc that would be nice. I have also felt my processor after 10 mins of my computer running and it was already burning hot so maybe its overheating of my processor but I am not too sure. Would appreciate help!

That or speedfan. Is is overclocked? Check if the CPU cooler is dusty or any of the other fans. If you haven't changed your system since 5 years, it is kinda outdated, and if there has been a game update that needs a beefier graphics card or processor, that could be it. It also might explain the CPU getting too hot as it's under a much higher load.

I think it could be the other problem, the CPU getting under load too much. Have there been any updates to your games recently? Although 69 degrees isn't too bad, my laptop runs about that under load.

Bring up task manager, go to processes and end any that you are not using or don't need, eg iTunes if your not listening to music or word if you already closed it. That might help a little. Are you using the stock AMD fan?
