Computer keeps crashing 5-10mins into video games

Im new to the computer building community. Just built my first one last week and it is running everything smoothly except when I start playing state of decay 2, 5-10 minutes into the game everything freezes and my computer stops working all together but the screen stays frozen on whatever scene I was on.

This is my build

ASUS Prime B350M-A/CSM AM4
Motherboard

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 2gb

AMD Ryzen 3 2200g

Crucial 2x8gb ddr4

Seagate 1tb hard drive

EVGA 500w B1 80+

Asus 24x dvd: rw

Windows 10 installed

Are you monitoring temps? Could be a thermal issue as its running fine then shutting down. Download msi afterburner or hwinfo if you haven't already and see about cpu and gpu temps when crashing

So I’ve been monitoring the temps And my cpu goes as high as 47c. Is that to hot? And motherboard stays at 37c
And I deleted state of decay 2 and am redownloding it because I thought there might be a corrupted file but as I was redownloading it my computer did the same thing as when I’m playing the game. The screen has completely frozen and I can’t do anything. The only option I have is to hard reset it with the power button.

47 degrees under load is extremely low. Is your PC crashing in other games as well, or just state of decay?

So it’s now freezing completely a few minutes into starting it up. The screen just freezes and I can’t do anything except hit the reset button. The temp last I checked before it froze was at 52c. It also freezes some times at the loading screen before it fully starts up

Side note. I can access the bios without any trouble or freezing or anything

Test the ram by only using one stick at a time. Try using different slots for the ram as well to see if it solves it.
