Hello,

I have recently built a new PC and it keeps freezing requiring a hard reboot. I have taken it into a number of businesses to see if they can fix it but to no avail. I had nearly given up until I checked the above list and it mentioned I needed an adapter. I was about to bin the entire build and just retreat into a cave but if this can cause that sort of issue then I will attempt it. Can a lack of an adapter cause random freezes?

That is a generic answer to all problems. For one he has no integrated gpu so for an image does he need one.
alright so i didnt checked his pc partpicker, then it just comes down to updating bios and checking the ram or if the psu is failing , he gotta check everything, anything can cause a freeze hardboot, also make sure if the cpu is working alright or not, he gotta pin down every problem which can cause it

The warning just means that the smaller usb port on the case cannot be connected to that motherboard, see no relation to freezes.

Try to update the bios to the latest, see if that helps.

The BIOS has been updated as well as every driver. I have also tested it by replacing the CPU,GPU and RAM with another computer and I had the same issue.. I have tested both SSD's as well as HDD all day. I have even replaced the MOBO with a new one as a specialist said that was the issue. It wasnt.

That leaves little, but psu or windows. You have a legit copy of windows?

I do indeed, I have also had a clean install done about 13 times by different people, I though PSU but thats the only thing I cant test and I like to think that the specialists have. Going to buy another and try it out!

Cannot see why such a thing would be psu (especially with a good one like you have), why i asked about windows, but maybe you can prove me wrong.

Maybe need another motherboard again, but from different brand ... at least model.

I appreciate your help, sorry if it came across otherwise!
Damn, im close to just buying another computer and tearing this apart and selling the components.
The MOBO should work no? It lasts between 30 seconds and 7 hours before a freeze, I just dont understand!
