Computer keeps freezing?

Sometimes my computer freezes up and I can't do anything, but the orange light on the front blinks every second or so like it's trying to find something?

Right click hdd.properties,there should be an option to check drives for error.


8 gigs of ram which is the max my mobo can take
1tb hhd
gonna get a new psu, but im using a cheapy 600 watt kentek psu
ASUS M4N68T-M V2 mobo
Gigabyte GTX 760
1600x900 monitor
AMD Phenom II x4 965 ~ 3.4 ghz
 


Have u try using another hdd.the orange light blinking means an error un ur hdd.try to run diag on the hdd.
 


How do I run diag? And what info do I tell you?

I ran the scan and it still does it

Check.your cpu usage,memory usage in task manager.it might be something running in the background that u didnt know about.
 


It seems to only happen when i'm running a game.
