My computer keeps freezing and giving me The Bsod sometimes it also freezes on the bios screen and I have to hold the power button down I tried removing the ram and I got a new hard drive now I think it's the motherboard. The motherboard is a ASRock A88M‑G/3.1 with an Athlon X4 860k

check the video cable connection to the monitor.
but it is more likely going to be a problem with the graphics.
blow out any dust, make sure the fans are spinning, check the power to the gpu.
(if you can get into bios, see it it can display voltages of the powersupply)
see this for levels https://www.lifewire.com/power-supply-voltage-tolerances-2624583

if you have a gpu in a pci/e slot you might remove it and try the cpu internal graphics.
(be sure to go into bios and reset the bios to defaults and reconfigure if you remove a graphics card)

last bios update was 1.4 version
here are the driver updates: (but it is not a driver issue if you are not stable in bios)

This is my PSU https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-WHITE-Warranty-Supply-100-W1-0500-KR/dp/B00H33SFJU/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1540671456&sr=8-
4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=psu+500w&dpPl=1&dpID=51AFmFLRqWL&ref=plSrch

the bios voltages look ok.
see my note I added on the last message.
IE remove external graphics card, and try to run off of the internal cpu gpu.
(assuming you have a external gpu)
or try another gpu if you have one handy

I don't have an internal gpu or any other I can test

maybe i looked at the wrong motherboard. the one I looked up shows
D-Sub, DVI-D and HDMI gpu connectors on the motherboard.

Yeah It does but my CPU doesn't have an integrated gpu

maybe go to a pc recycle place and get a cheap used gpu to test with.
I got one for $5 dollars to fix a friends old machine so they could get their tax records off of it before scrapping the machine.

Alright I'll try to find one

not sure, the black screen looks like a what you would get if the system started a reboot. the characters look like text characters but normally you would only see a cursor.
