All,
I could really use some help figuring out why my computer seem to be randomly hard resetting. It tends to always be when I am in a game or just finish one. It’s not any particular game either it’s all such as league of legends, Ark, smite, Skyrim. This issue has been going on for over a year but now is becoming more constant, happening once a day if not more. I recently replaced the GPU to a GTX 970 but that didn’t fix the problem. I ran a Memtest but everything passed. The next test I did was checking temperature, everything came up in allowable ranges. The max my CPU got before resetting was 47C. Finally I took the whole computer apart cleaned and reseated everything even the CPU but it didn’t help. I could really use some help to figure out the problem I would rather try avoiding buying piece by piece until it starts working properly. I think it’s a PSU issue but I have no way to factually base that only that it could be the CPU, PSU or MOBO.
