Question Computer keeps making a "ding" sound and going to sleep while in use

I have had this problem for a while now, where my computer will make a ding sound and turn off while I am actively using it.

I am actively moving the mouse and interacting with the computer so it is not idle.

Does anyone have an idea of what might be going on?

Can you explain the ding further? Does it come from the speakers, or the hardware itself? How does it sound like?

Okay, I think I figured it out. My hypothesis is that the computer thinks it is running out of battery and thus turns off. (Even though it is plugged in). In event viewer I can see "Sleep reason: Battery" and I always have this PC plugged in so there is something fishy there. If you got to this thread through googling the same problem maybe this can help.
