I've seen a couple threads with similar issues, but nothing helped, either CMOS isn't resetting or the reset doesn't help at all.

Running
Ryzen 5 5600X (formerly Ryzen 3 3200g)
RX 580
16gb ram
Gigabyte B550M DS3H
2tb HDD
250gb ssd

Solution
Yes, reinstall the old CPU and if you're able to boot you'll be able to find the current BIOS version in the BIOS itself. Willing to bet you need to update the BIOS to the latest version to be able to use the Zen 3 CPUs.

Heard that. If I have any more problems I'll post back here, but this is probably my issue. Thanks!

When they released the B550 boards, they said they wouldnt support the 2nd/3rd gen Ryzen APU's.I know some B550 boards do now support 3200G/3400G but yours is not supposed to, interesting.
On this website, they actually recommend the Ryzen 5 3400G with the AsRock B550M under best gaming PC under $500!
