So, my computer is making a noise that sounds like a coffee pot brewing, hard to explain, I looked inside and since the hard drive and video card are so close together, I could not pinpoint it. It's gotta be the hard drive or video card. I'm going to be honest, my videocard is secured with zipties. Screws were not available. It might be a fan, but there were no wires hitting fans, it can't be the optical drive because it is unplugged.

I just don't know what to do, or if I should worry.

The sound is not that loud, and I assumed a wire was in the way, but I saw none.

I'm not about to take my pc apart completly because of a little noise.

But it does sound very simaler to a coffee machine brewing

New cage: noise still there, I'm going to call it a night since I almost screwed up my PC because when I first turned it on it shut off randomly but now it boots fine.

I spent 5 hours on this and I'm going to get some dinner. Ill poke around more tomarrow. Thanks guys! I'll post tommarow

Run crystal disk info in my signature. It will tell you if the hard drive SMART Health status is good, caution, or failing.

For harboym I haven't heard a hard drive like that in years. Sounds like some old loud IDE Drive XD

If you have any bad sectors trying to clone it won't work. As far as Steam goes you can just redownload your games (The save files are stored in documents) and minecraft i know you want to back up if you have any custom addon's and stuff for sure.
