How do I place items in my favorites? (there doesn't seem to be any location by that name.

How do I place items as a shortcut on my desktoop. I can diminish them to the bar only.

In I.E., click on Favorites in the toolbar, select Add to Favorites.

For shortcuts, right-click on the program or file, select Send to Desktop as shortcut.

If it's a web page you are trying to save, can just drag the address of the page to the desktop.
