Computer massive frame drop problems

Hi, I am wondering why my 1 year old PC already has issue with it. It seems to lag if I leave the computer on the whole day, The sound distorts and massive computer frame drops. I ran the Seagate hard drive test and also Chkdsk/r. The only way to fix it temporarily is to restart my PC and it comes back 3 hours later. Have you opened it up and cleaned all the dust and crap out? Could be overheating

Yeah I air canned it. I do it 1 time every month

Hi there Technefy,

Even though you've air canned it, your system may be overheating.

My suggestion would be to run a tool that can measure the temps, once your system starts to experience these frame drops.
Another thing you can do is to observe Resource Monitor, during the drops, and see if there is high usage of some of the components and what is causing it.

What did the HDD testing results show? Did you observe the SMART report?
