Computer Memory at "blahblahxblah cannot be read"

first of all, most of the programs i used to use to download online videos (from mostly youtube) stopped working, or would work, until i tried to start a download, then it would freeze and crash and just generally stop responding. Sometimes it would say something like "error, the memory at blahblahxblah cannot be read" and my bittorrent client has started freezing as well, the only video downloader left that still works is Any Video Converter. Everything else crashes or freezes.
It usually displays something like this (not the exact same, because i copy/pasted from someone else)...
"The instruction at 0x000000000FD13ED2 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000001. The memory could not be read"
This all started about half a year ago.

Solution
download Memtest86+ and put it on a flash drive or CD/DVD and run it as a boot device to ensure the system memory is not an issue.

http://www.memtest.org/

also ensure that there are no issues with the OS files by opening a command prompt in administrator mode and type "sfc/scannow" without quotes and press enter.
