Hi, I've been having this issue on multiple systems for quite awhile now. Google turned up nothing but unhelpful Microsoft support. The long and short of it is that the monitors on both my PC and another in the house won't go to sleep at the time set in the Power & Sleep setting. The issue was seemingly random, but hasn't gone away since.

That is a problem with Windows 10. I am having similar problems. The only thing likely to correct the problem is a fresh install of Windows 10. I haven't done this yet, myself. So I can't say that it will absolutely work, but I've literally tried just about everything else.

My problem is that the Sleep function is just messed up on my system. But my problem is a little different. One on my monitors (DisplayPort) eventually will stop waking. It can be reset by unplugging the power and monitor cable. It will work for a while and then stop waking again. The monitor works fine on Windows 7. And the monitor connected with HDMI works fine.

I even upgraded from version 1709 to 1803, but with no luck.

One thing to try is to go to the Power Options page. And then select the Balanced plan, then go to the Change Plan Settings and reset the plan to the defaults. Afterwards you can adjust the Sleep times to your tastes.

If your operating system is still working correctly, that should fix things.

Apologies for the delayed response, I had forgotten about this thread. It seems that the restoration of default didn't work, so I suppose I'm in store for a fresh windows install. Ah well, I was in for one soon anyways.

I understand, I'm in the same boat. What is bothering me now is that Windows 10 version 1803 is the latest version. The Windows 10 version 1809 release was suspended, but will eventually be the new latest version.

So if I do a reinstall (or reset) now, then 1809 comes out, I will end up going through Windows fixing things to my tastes twice. I would rather avoid that.
