[SOLVED] Computer not booting keeps beeping

The computer used to work but now it keeps making a beep pause and then 2 beeps the motherboard is Asus p5vd2-vm

It has a celeron D (i don't remember the model) 2x2gb ram 80gb hdd

If the ram is duel channel? Make sure both ram sticks are in the same color slots. The same thing happens to me with a new pc from cybertron. At the time it was only 8 gb, single stick. I opened the case, pushed the ram back in gently until it seated.

they are the same. they are 2 a data vitesta extreme edition

it's ddr2 and i know that the one i had works so i guess im looking for one like it

already did. Nothing changed

That's really old RAM, I wish you good luck in finding an identical stick of whichever RAM. I would suggest an upgrade if you can.

dont think the mb will support 800mhz ram judging by the specs
