Hi,

I've installed a new storage drive in my pc but then ran in trouble with windows not booting properly. I fixed this by running a repair with the win 10 media tool. However, whilst trying to get this too work i thought it might be my bios and clicked on load optimised setting and saved.

Now my computer doesn't boot up and restarts within seconds. Im also not able to go back into the bios as well. Now I've narrowed the issue down to ram. I have 4 sticks installed totalling to 16gb ram. All the same model. Ive tried each stick individually and a combination of slots. What I found was i can install on slots 2,3 and 4 but when i reinstall the 4th in slot 1 its not booting up. The same happens when using slots 1,2 and 3. Doesn't like slot 1 for some reason and doesn't boot up. Slot 1 works fine as a pair i.e 1 and 3, or on its own.

Does anyone know what it could be?
I have had all 4 rams working with xmp profile 1 without any problems before. Now it wont work even if this is disabled.
