Hi i have inherited a pc it had seen better days... But with a little tlc it was performing well until the other day it wouldn't start at all it was powering up but there was no bios screen and nothing on the display, it seemed like the hard disk was spinning though.
After all the usual workarounds Like having 1 stick of ram in and making sure everything was plugged in properly and unplugging usb and pci peripherals I gave up only to come back later on for another go and it worked first time out of the blue, which annoyed me because I had done nothing to fix it and couldn't work out why it could be so inconsistent.
It worked for about 15 mins then cut out, power went off then it came back on with the original problem back!
I have left it 24 hrs unplugged and tried the same today with almost the same result.
Does this sound like a psu issue?
Specs are
Gigabyte mobo p55us3l
4gb ram
Asus gtx560ti
