hi guys

i can't get my PC to detect my samsung galaxy s7 when I plug it or my PNY 128gb flash drive

its an x58 sabeertooth mobo
i checked usb drivers to make sure they up to date

i used to be able to get the 128gb usb drive to detect on one of the ports on the back but it was sporadic. now i can get either my phone or the drive to detect at all. i test an old 2 gb flash drive and it worked.
i tested both my phone & usb stick on my win 10 laptop and both worked fine

Go into device manager, delete your phone from the mobile devices. Google Samsung USB drivers for S7. Download the Samsung USB drivers for Windows and install. Once finished, unlock your phone and plug the usb cable in. The screen must be unlocked. Also PNY is not the most reputable brand, at least from my personal experience. Try a SanDisk card.
