So I recently bought a computer and wanted to add RAM. I removed the stick to get a look at the info on the back of it
Now the computer will not boot. The lights all come on including on the RAM but monitor, mouse, and keyboard don't work I tried resetting the RAM but the results are the same.
This is the computer

Did you remove all power to MB while doing it ?
Reset CMOS ?

Late response but... It started working again after a few resets. I have the new RAM I bought and it is giving me the problem again. I don't see a coin battery to remove and am not quite sure how to reset (I don't have, as far as I know, a jumper and have instead removed HDDLED, Power LED +, Power LED -, and Power SW while trying to get at the area. The board is a ASRock B650M. I regret not just resetting the cards. The cables are bolted together, not in the ideal position to each other, and the video card leaves little hand room. I don't think the extra RAM is worth this BS.
