[SOLVED] Computer only powers on if SSD is physically moved.

So basically, this PC in question was working previously, but then got pulled a part. I tried to put it back together about a month later and nothing booted. After looking at my all my cables, I noticed when I moved my SSD, the computer booted, everything was working. As soon as I put the SSD back it turned off. It's comparable to a broken wire on earphones, where you have to move them around until they finally work. So I'm assuming it's the wire for the PSU, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion on here. Is it the cable?

P.S The PSU is not modular so would I have to purchase a new one to replace the cable?

Try a different plug or cable from the psu to ssd. Also try replacing the sata cable.

Do you have only single sata power connector available on your psu?
Usually there are several.

And sata data cable goes from motherboard to hdd. This cable can be replaced.
