Computer Specifications (which worked before)
Monitor: MSI Optix MAG24C
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 Super
PSU: EVGA 650 GQ210-GQ-0650-V1 80+ GOLD 650W Modular EVGA ECO Mode Power Supply
Mobo: Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4
RAM: G.SKILL Flare X 16GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GFX
Case: Corsair Carbide 275R
SSD: M.2 Samsung Evo 970+
OS: Installed Windows 10 Pro on my M.2 Samsung Evo 970+

Prior to installing my second SSD, Western Digital Blue SSD (WDS100T2B0A), my computer worked and turned on fine. However, after installing the second SSD, my computer components are working, but the monitor does not detect any signals. I tried using different monitor cables (Display Port & HDMI), but did not work. I also tried removing the second SSD, which I thought was the problem, but the monitor still did not detect a signal. When installing this second SSD, I did not bump into the GPU, as I just plugged in the cables into the Mobo and PSU.

So, I tried unplugging my computer parts and replugged it in, essentially rebuilding everything except for the CPU/CPU fan. I also tried different cables for the PSU, but I still received the same error. I tried again 8 hours later, but the problem still persists.

Another thing I noticed is that when my computers on, my keyboard and mouse lights up. And the Mobo light & GPU fan turns off after a while. So even without the display, I restarted the PC and went into BIOS/UEFI mode by pressing F2, and this seems to keep the Mobo light & GPU fan to stay on.

I contacted NewEgg about it, and I only have 4 days left to return/replace my parts.

I'm not sure what else I can try to get my monitor to work.

Some other solutions I see are to plug the monitor cables (HDMI / Display Port) directly into the GPU instead of the Mobo, which I will try later today, as well as try turning on the computer without my GPU installed, since some sources say that it could be a GPU problem and some CPU's have a dedicated graphics card.

Any other solutions I can try? I'm new to building a computer, as I built this several weeks ago.

How long do you leave it to cycle?
Could be the ram

Around 5 minutes, but the mobo lights and GPU fan turns off around after 1 minute unless I press F2 (entering BIOS/UEFI mode), which will leave the mobo lights and GPU fan on until I power the PC down.

As for the RAM, I also tried putting them in different slots and also tried using a single stick of RAM.

I checked on pc part picker and ram is compatible. And the whole PC ran smoothly for several weeks up until I tried installing the second SSD.
PC part picker won’t tell you that. Literally just stops you throwing DDR2 in. You have to go the the motherboard spec page and find the supported list and see if your part number is on there.

how did you install the ssd? Did you take anything out, swap SATA connecters around etc?

I looked at the manual (page 22 of http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Manual/X570 Phantom Gaming 4.pdf) and my RAM should be compatible.

For my first SSD (the Samsung Evo 970 +), I just attached it to the M.2 slot and attached a screw in the respective hole. This config worked fine.

The problem started with my second SSD (Western Digital Blue 2.5" SSD), where I attached the SATA cable into the Mobo and the WD SSD and used the cable to connect the PSU to the WD SSD, as provided by the PSU. So this is the first time I used a SATA cable.

I did not take anything out, as I only attached what was described in the previous paragraph.

Wrong list it’s not on the manual it’s a seperate file which is literally a list of memory sticks by speed and part number

Means it isn’t guaranteed to work. I had a nightmare with my board until I used RAM that was listed. Still have to return the old ram
So I should get a new RAM stick?

The weird thing I find interesting and confusing is that those RAM memory sticks were working until I installed the second SSD.

Ultimately, I feel like the problem lies within the GPU and Mobo?
