So i purchased a new asus rog gaming laptop and i've only downloaded google chrome, world of warcraft, and my nvidia drivers but it seems i have some malware or something because im getting an insane amount of pop ups. How would i scan my computer for the problem, and even more so how can i remove it and protect my computer in the future

Malwarebytes is a arguably one of the best anti malware programs. I believe the free version has real-time protection too, not sure though. I don't have antivirus, but I've heard AVG is a good free antivirus with real time protection.
