I have a computer that was built about 3 months ago. In the past two weeks it has started randomly shutting down when gaming. I confirmed it was not a heat issue with HWmonitor. When it shuts down the USB ports on the case still have power and will charge items connected to them. The power button will not turn the computer back on until you unplug the PSU from the power and plug it back in, then the power button will turn the machine on. This PSU and GPU are the only two items that are not new in the machine. I have removed all overclocks and made sure drivers were updated. Event viewer isn't giving much except a unexpected shutdown occurred. I'm leaning towards the PSU being the problem but would like someone else to confirm that.
