Hey guys,

My computer works really well, cpu idle temps 28c and GPU idles around 40c. Under load cpu - 31c and GPU 60c.

For some reason I could never figure out is my motherboard has been posting an error code 60 - DXE Core is started.

THE ISSUE: Recently, my computer randomly shuts off when idle, never under heavy load. I can’t seem to get the error code 60 to ever go away either.

I’m running the following:

CPU: AMD 7950x3d
Motherboard: Carbon Wi-Fi x670e MSI
Ram: G.Skill z5 6000
PSU: 1600 watt EVGA g+
GPU: 4090 FE
AIO: NZXT 360 360

I’ve hit cmos clear already, I’ve updated Bios to latest stable version for motherboard. I updated drivers for the 4090 and the CPU.

I’m not sure what else I can do, I’ve also checked the CPU pins to make sure that nothings wrong there, everything looks erect and I’m working order.

Reading other comments about this issue seem to point towards RAM. Perhaps try each stick individually to see if the error will clear?
Turns out, it looks like it's not an error code, I think it's just the CPU temp.
I still don't get why my computer randomly shuts off though.
