Computer refuses to turn on after system freeze

Everythings going all peacefully just browsing when BAM! System freeze! I thought it'll be best to turn off and boot up again, however the button does nothing.

I've checked all the power connections, swapped the main power cable, still nothing - not even a light or fan turns
I refuse believe its a dead PSU, simply because its not a junk unit (Antec HCG-M 520w)

Just because your power supply isn't some crappy unit, don't assume it's impossible for it to be dead. Try jumpstarting the PSU by connecting the green and any black wire on the 24 pin connector. If it does start then, you can fairly safely assume it's good.

If you mean try the paperclip test, yes it does work. I get a moving fan...

Plug everything back it...and it still won't turn on. :\

Then it sounds like there's something shorting out. You might want to try to start the pc outside of the case. Also try to start it with as little components needed.
