Computer resetting when playing games

Hi Guys

Had my new system for about 6months now and all of a sudden its started to reset when playing games..havent overclocked anything .. Ideas where to start diagnosing?

Intel 4770
Corsair GS700 PSU
MSI h87-g43 Mobo
MSI GTX 780ti
Ripjaws 2400mhz ram 16g

Never had a problem before >> Help appreciated..

Did a 3dmark Demo run yesterday which is the only thing kinda out of the ordinary for me..
 
Solution
The GS is cheap - for a Corsair anyway - but I wouldn't expect problems with it. I've got an older Corsair psu and no problems - but its made by Seasonic like others that we recommend a lot here.

You'd need to tell us what gpu's to be able to look up currents and total wattage. You can figure it out yourself using a Wattage Calculator eg - http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp

And you can find out the best power supplies as recommended by Tom's (Dotorrent) - http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html#13224310

Thanks for the info, will do, as stated in the post I haven't overclocked, wouldn't know how to.. Lol.. Currently running the furmark test will post back soon.

gEE - i'VE GOT A SORE NECK FROM READING THAT -

1. CPU -Vcore: 0.71 - 1.11v -ok, 800-3700mHZ - ok, 1200rpm fan- bit high, 33-44C - bit high

2. PSU - 12V 13.344V TOO HIGH, 5V OK, 3.3V OK

3. GPU - 36-37C OK, 0.875V OK, 1143rpm OK

So you need to change your power supply - its not holding its 12V rail voltage. The GS is corsairs bottom end budget power supply. For a gtx780ti powered pc you need at least 42A on the 12V rail and 600W total. get a good one eg XFX, Antec HCG 620M, Seasonic 620.

But I'm also suspecting that the cpu voltage is OK but its still rnning warm. This indicates the cpu cooler isn't doing its job. I'd recommend a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo as a replacement.

So - two problems - power supply and cpu cooler

Haha yea sorry about that.. Thanks for the info that's really helpful.. I'm going get another gpu so I'll get another psu to handle both.. Quite funny really, y I didn't think that psu was a budget one.. Wasn't all that cheap to be honest..in your opinion do you think the unit is potentially faulty or just not really up to the job? Would say the corsair ax860i suffice for two gpus?
 
The GS is cheap - for a Corsair anyway - but I wouldn't expect problems with it. I've got an older Corsair psu and no problems - but its made by Seasonic like others that we recommend a lot here.

You'd need to tell us what gpu's to be able to look up currents and total wattage. You can figure it out yourself using a Wattage Calculator eg - http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp
