Right. This is going to be my first post here so go easy on me please :).

I just bought a new PC with specs as :

0) ASUS Maximus Hero Vii Motherboard.
1) Intel core i7 4770k @ 3.50 GHz
2) Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 @ stock.
3) (2 X 4) GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM @ 1333 MHz
4) 1 TB Seagate @ 7200rpms (SATA)
5) CoolerMaster G650M PSU.

The Problem :

The PC is around 8 months old now and uptill now has worked nearly flawlessly .I say nearly because around 3 months ago my first hard drive suddenly died ( Same model as above).

There's a guy above me who loves to use his Air conditioner all day. At peak draw( probably , its when the AC starts making sporadic rumbling noises) the computer restarts by itself giving no error message.

Now , a week ago onwards everytime i tried to play Skyrim or The Witcher 3 the computer instantly restarted itself. Other games like World in Conflict , Dragon Age: Origins and Trine 2 work as they should.

So far , i've tried reinstalling the games , clean installing new graphics drivers as well as cleaning the Graphics card and RAM modules and nothing's worked. Any help/insight would be appreciated.

Solution
You have a surge protector of some sort that your computer is plugged in to correct? Make sure that your temps aren't overheating the computer as well as overheating could cause it to shut down to protect the hardware. Also, check the Event Viewer and see if you can find a specific (or "more specific") cause of what happened. When the computer shuts down, you should be able to find it in the logs, especially when it shuts down in a manner other than you telling it to shut down.

By Surge protector you mean a UPS , yes? It doesn't really respond . I've had a look at the Temps . Both CPU and the graphics card are @ around 45 and lower generally sometimes upto 51 (degrees C) especially after a restart . With regards to the system event logs , i checked right after a reboot and a Kernel-Power popped up under Critical. Also please disregard that BEST SOLUTION CHOSEN! please .... i got a bit excited and clicked on the wrong tab :]

What do you mean by system voltages?? CPU ? Its always stable @ 1.056V.

Since you've done an reinstall of the games, you could take it a step further and do a fresh system install, backup your data, wipe the drive and reinstall everything all over again (would probably flatten any hiccups). Past that, I would guess that you don't have another PSU to swap in would you? If the temps are cool, and it's not shutting down because of heat, then it could just be a power issue. It's possible the thing is on it's way out, or that something was messed up badly by your neighbor and his AC habits. If the problem is easily reproducible, ie, within an hour of playing skyrim it crashes, then swapping out the PSU for a new would find out if the switch was good or not.

+12V, +5V and +3.3V rails.

Alright. I'll give both of them a try and let you know.Thank you for your help. :)

EDIT: Around a week back , i got a PSU back after sending mine to the manufacturer about a month ago (yes, a month).
It's the exact same model.
Since then i've testing around during the one and off periods of the AC and the Computer works as it used to.
So , it was the PSU that was causing the trouble.

Thanks for your help :]

No inconsistencies there, BIOS shows those exact values and holding , generally.

Were they holding at the time of the problem?

Try plugging in your system on a different circuit than what the air conditioner is on.

Tried it all over . Still the same problem and yes they always hold steady . I'm beginning to suspect that it's the building's wiring.
