So I recently built a computer for my brother and its just randomly turning off and then restarting. the specs are listed below.

MSI X570 MAG Tomahawk WiFi
AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
Crucial Ballistix Max 16gb (8gb) *enabled XMP already
Gskill 650 watt PSU

I got windows installed and connected to the internet, but it keeps restarting randomly preventing him from downloading games, I have a decent understanding of computers but I'm not very sure how to fix this one.

I would enter the BIOS and check the CPU temps. See if they're normal. If you want to take it a step further, download some standalone temperature monitoring software on another system then put it on a flash drive such as Speccy standalone along with Prime95 to stress test the CPU. If there's something off with cooling, that will make it show itself. It should have an almost immediate effect once Prime95 begins.

If all appears normal, I would bet on a loose connection or something miswired. A little odd, but you could also try lightly moving, tilting, shaking the tower. If doing that triggers it, even more likely a loose connection.

Alright, I was thinking a lose wire on one of the headers, I'll check it out in the morning, thanks for the help, the temps didnt seem too high so lose wire is the most likely problem.

After some time of testing different RAM I discovered that the LED debug light was on CPU so I reseated the CPU and it booted up just fine.
