Whenever I play games like WoW and OverWatch 2 my PC is randomly restarting and I have no idea why... it's happened twice today in the last 5 hours. Once last week and a few months ago (went back to wow for a while) and it happened twice.

Currently doing two stress tests, Prime 95 and Furmark, 45 minutes in running at 72-73 on the CPU 72-75 on the GPU and it's going strong and fine... So I don't think it's a temperature issue. Don't run useless apps in the background just the usual discord and Nvidia control panel. Nothing in the event log apart from "unknown shut down" information after it restarts.

Only have the ram set to 3600mhz. Reseated all cables, but I'm stumped... only had this issue after changing out the mobo and CPU 6 months ago. Never experienced it before.

Any help is very much appreciated, will reply hastily. Thank you!

Typically, these types of issues are due to a faulty/failing power supply, but since it's not failing during Prime or Furmark, that tends to rule the power supply out. Besides, you have a (typically) quality unit in there.

When you replaced the motherboard and CPU, did you reinstall windows from scratch?

Yeah, I freshly installed windows. I tend to do it yearly also.
