Dear TH,
When I turned my PC on this morning I had gotten around 3-5 minutes of use on my browser before it restarted itself. Since then it has continuously restarted itself within 10-20 seconds of being on the desktop. When I open task manager briefly on startup, I see my CPU usage is often spiking to 100%, and from what I can tell 'antimalwareexecutable' and 'servicehost:wua----' are the highest offenders.
So far I have used safe mode without issue, and updated drivers using a free version of 'driver booster', ran a malware bytes scan, set my bios to default (was oc'd), changed my power plan back to 'balanced'. I'm unsure where to go from this point.
My PC is 6 years old and the specs to the best of my knowledge are:
CPU: i5 4690k
GPU: gtx 970
Mobo: Asus Z97K
PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 550w
RAM: 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3 (this could be false I'd have to check if need be)
