Computer Running Slow

An SSD will change your HD activities immensely over a regular HDD. You could do a defrag of the HDD and also run a virus scan and malware scan also. Worse case scenario is to do a fresh install, of coarse backing up your vital files first.

Windows 10 64 Bit, 8 GB 1600 MHz RAM, and an AMD FX-8320. My RAM usage is a little higher because of Windows 10. Other people have this issue too. But I have plenty of RAM space. I had the same slugghishness issue before Win 10.

No. Idles at a few percent. goes up a little when loading web pages. It doesn't go up much percent wise because it is an eight core CPU and a browser only uses one, but my CPU speed goes to 4 GHz until the page is loaded.

Exactly what I stated before (except the diagnostic tests). I use MemTest86 for RAM testing and WD or Seagate HD utility tests (depending on the HD that you have).

My guess is your HD fragmented and you could possibly have some malware on the system. Doing a fresh install of the OS usually cleans up all of the crap (in my experience). Obviously getting an SSD for the OS and a few apps will usually speed things up when it comes to HD/SSD activities. It is almost night and day when using an SSD over a regular HDD.
