title explains most of the issue, I have no programs on startup except on, which is avast anti virus, I defrag my hard drive daily.
System specs:
amd fx-4300
R7 260x
8 gb of ddr3
1 TB HHD 568 gb free of 931
500 watt Corsair CX 500 PSU
When my pc started, I got an alert by my anti virus saying I got a pup as svchost.exe in my system 32, and it got removed im nto sure if this was a virus, or was a legit file my avast is currently in hardened aggrsssive mode.
No im using a desktop this desktop is less than a year old, I bought this pc on amazon http://amzn.to/2veeQqv And the PSU was trash so it burnt itself and the motherboard in less than 2 weeks so i replaced them and got the 78lmt-usb 3 motherboard and the corsair cx 500
i also changed the gpu as the noraml stock one was trash for gaming as well, cost 500$ and was NOT worth it
It shouldnt have anything to do with your hard drive space. You should definitely not be removing svchost.exe as it is an official microsoft service. Theres a chance it was replaced by a virus but that's very very unlikely, especially if its located in System32. A general rule of thumb is to never delete anything from System32. Has this been happening for a while or just recently? I would try to restore to an earlier point or find a way to replace that svchost file as it was more than likely a false-positive by your AV. Download "Malwarebytes ADWcleaner" and see if that gives you any success.
