Question Computer says not connected to any networks but I am online

I am using an ethernet connection and am on the internet but my computer says Im not and as such it results in certain programs not functioning properly thinking there is no internet connection, namely Spotify but i keep running into more programs that aren't working. I have tried the ipconfig/release + renew as well as uninstalling in device manager, updating, looked in bios. Please help me !

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Open the Command Prompt and run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes). Post the results.

Look in Reliability History: do you see any error codes, warnings, or informational events that correspond with the "not connected" messages?

What router do you have: make and model?

The router's logs (if available and enabled) may offer additional insight as to what is happening.

Who has full admin rights to the router? You will need help from that person.

Hmmm...that's interesting that two different people are running into the exact same problem.

Do each of you have any other devices on your network? Do they also have similar problems? Which isp do each of you have?

I just noticed something to try--turn off ipv6.
